HCC Faculty Concert: C is for Cantabile

The word cantabile, which is Italian for “singable” or “in a singing style,” evokes lyrical expression and graceful phrasing — qualities at the heart of this concert’s music. Featuring works by Frédéric Chopin (Polish), Gaetano Corticelli (Italian), and Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco (Italian American), the program highlights the poetic and melodic strengths of these composers — each with a unique voice yet united by a shared sense of lyricism.
Join us for an evening of expressive beauty. This concert is part of cellist Katy I-Hsuan Chiang’s Letter Series Concert, featuring the letter C.
Featuring:
Katy I-Hsuan Chiang, Cello
Kyle Coughlin, Clarinet
Sangmi Yoon, Piano
