HCC Faculty Concert: Pre-Concert Discussion with Emmy Award-Winning Composer - Jasmine Arielle Barnes

Join us for a pre-concert talk with Jasmine Arielle Barnes—an Emmy Award-winning composer and acclaimed vocalist whose work has been performed around the globe. Hailed as “refreshing, engaging, and exciting” by San Francisco Classical Voice, “beautifully lyrical” by The Telegraph (UK), and “the best possible blend of Billie Holiday and Claude Debussy” by the Boston Globe, Ms. Barnes brings a unique and powerful voice to contemporary music.
She will discuss her newest composition, How to Fly, which will receive its world premiere during Patagonia Winds’ Earth, Winds, and Fire concert on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.
