Columbia Inspired

HCC Faculty Concert: From Mozart to Beethoven

Enjoy a truly special afternoon of music featuring pianists Wei-Der Huang and I-Wen Tseng in performances of two masterworks: Mozart’s Piano Concerto in C Major, K. 467, and Beethoven’s Piano Concerto in C Minor, Op. 37. Under the baton of Ronald Mutchnik, these beloved concertos will come to life alongside a full orchestra comprised of the exceptional musicians of Columbia, Maryland.

The program also includes Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2 in D Major, Op. 36, a vibrant and transitional work that bridges the elegance of the classical era with the bold, innovative spirit that would define his later symphonies.

Featuring:

Wei-Der Huang, Piano

I-Wen Tseng, Piano

Ronald Mutchnik, Conductor
