Raleigh, North Carolina artist and Columbia, MD native Kevin Peddicord brings his irreverent and nostalgic vision back to his hometown in an exhibition of recent works entitled ANOTHER TIME. The paintings, oil on gallery wrapped canvas, feature inspired takes on retro pop culture, vintage cinema and the artists who enhance our world. As a self-taught commercial illustrator, Kevin created art for, among others, NASL’s Washington Diplomats, wrestler Macho Man Randy Savage, Major League Baseball Hall of Fame player Eddie Murray, the Durham Bulls and the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes. As a painter, Kevin has participated in solo and group shows throughout North Carolina since 2005. Kevin has resided in the Raleigh area since 1991. This exhibit at the Bernice Kish Gallery at Slayton House will showcase Kevin’s work of 23 selected paintings. ANOTHER TIME will be available for viewing from May 1 through June 28, 2024. The reception and gallery talk will be held on Sunday, May 5th from 3:00 - 5:00 pm. Gallery hours are Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 4:30pm.
