Visit Howard County in partnership with Patapsco Heritage Greenway is pleased to present an original exhibit on display at the Howard County Welcome Center October 6th - November 30th.

This original exhibit explores the history of Ellicott City’s Undertakers and Funeral Homes, some of which are still serving the Howard County community today. The Howard County Welcome Center is located in a historic post office, however, previous to the construction of the post office, it was the site of the first undertakers in Ellicott City, Hillsinger’s Undertakers. There are three other buildings within walking distance of the Welcome Center that once housed undertaker businesses. Come see this unique exhibit through November 30th!
