Leadership U Graduation

Feb 17, 2025 09:07AM ● By Alli Eastham

Leadership Howard County (LHC) recently graduated another terrific cohort of young adult leaders from its 2024 Leadership U Program. 53 talented, motivated, young leaders first came together over the summer and got to know each other, and themselves better; getting outside their comfort zones and challenging themselves. A component of the program involves working on a team project; these projects allow students to tackle a cause important to them, address a local need, and be civically engaged. Through collaborating and implementing these projects, students are empowered and able to apply their leadership skills in real-word scenarios to leave a lasting mark and create a ripple effect of positive transformation within Howard County.  Click here to learn more about these impactful initiatives - congratulations on a collective job well done! Many thanks to our 2024 LU Mentors: Jim DeCarlo, Duane St. Clair, Alli Eastham, Diane Freedman, Ralph Massella, LP '02, Adrianna Pavlides, Anne Santos, LP '17, and Dawn Weglein, LP '14.
