2022 Top Ten Tech List

Mar 07, 2022 10:17AM ● By Anika Mills
Every year, on my Christmas and birthday list, I request some piece of technology.  I love gadgets! Whether it is a new digital watch that tracks my everything, or the Bluetooth speaker I use for my spa time, technology is a consistent part of my life. I thought it would be fun to search the web and find the latest greatest gadgets that were receiving high marks. Technology for fitness, for work, and for your lifestyle is on this list. No matter how you identify, (Him, Her, They, or Them) we have something for you! As a budget conscious "gadgeteer", our list taps out at $200, starting with the lowest priced item as our number one. Hey I said I like gadgets, I did not say my budget was unlimited! Have fun exploring!

1. Tile Mate Products
These are great for keeping track of important items like keys, and wallets. In this house I have bought wallet tiles for two individuals who will remain nameless.  They really do work and can keep you from wandering the house endlessly trying to find them.

2. Kopak Waterproof Anti-Theft Backpack
I love a good backpack, and in pre-pandemic days I took mine everywhere.  In Columbia there are plenty of places to set up a mobile office and work. This backpack will definitely be on my list for the future. I do not know if it is truly anti-theft, but it definitely will hold all that I need for a mobile office.

3. Moft Z Invisible Thin Sit and Stand Portable Desk

This is another great option for an on the go mobile office, and it is also great for a home office. Standing desks can get pretty pricey and bust your office budget.  I see this as a great hack for those of us working from home, or in an office that is not offering a standing desk option.

4. Razr Kishi Mobile Game Controller
For the gamer in you that is not going to venture out and get the Nintendo Switch or whatever new  portable gaming platform is out there. This allows you to immediately turn your phone into a game console.

5. Tao Clean Ona Diamond Facial Brush

I try my best to not be caught up in the tv infomercials, or Jill's Steals and Deals on the Today Show. But alas, they got me at least once, or maybe a couple of times!  However, this purchase I do not regret. It's great for everyday use, and for those of you who wear make up, this is a game changer. This electric brush works really well in helping you clean your skin, getting rid of any residue left behind.

 6. Crosley Voyager Bluetooth Record Player
My father was a lover of music, as am I, and years ago after he passed he left a fantastic album collection that I treasure. I have my eye on this beauty of a record player because of its versatility. I can play downloaded music through the Bluetooth speaker, and when I want to go old school, I can still play my records. The best of both worlds!

7. Mophie Wireless Charging Deck
In the world of wireless we are all looking for simple and convenient. This charging deck provides you with both.  The real win is the portable charger that everyone could use.

 8. Azio Iso Wireless Keyboard
Most likely our home offices have been upgraded or recently established in the last two years.  Either way, making it your own space can be a challenge. This keyboard provides a few options that allow you to get creative.

9. Whithings Body Cardio Scale
Where are my fitness junkies at?  I LOVE a fitness gadget with all the stats that I can get, which is why this scale got my attention. From your blood pressure, to your BMI (body mass index) this scale reads you from head to toe.  It's weird, but I think it's going on my birthday list.  I'm a sucker for stats!

 10. Form Swim Smart Goggles
Every year I tell myself that I am going to add swimming to my fitness routine, and in Columbia there are plenty of pools to choose from. However, if I make it to the end of a 25 meter lane without stopping I am excited...lol!  These goggles are for those of you that are keeping track of your progress and need more than "not dying" as proof.

Happy shopping techies! We did not include direct links to the items because we do not want to influence where you may purchase them.  However, once you put them in your search bar, I suggest you bargain hunt away, the deals are out there!
