The Walrus Oyster & Ale House is not what you think. Because of our location at The Mall in Columbia, lots of people think that we’re just another chain restaurant. But we, like you, call Howard County our home. The Walrus Oyster is a locally owned and operated restaurant serving up an ever-changing, seasonal Chesapeake Bay-inspired menu. We are proud to serve Maryland’s best lobster roll, but our regulars will tell you not to skip on the crab dip or the deviled eggs. 

2020 was hard for everyone, but we have persevered thanks to the support of this community. From our make-at-home meal kits to our to-go cocktails, we’re always coming up with creative ways to keep the community fed. It’s what drives and inspires every member of our team.
